The graph of y = cos ( 2 x pi/2 )

y = cos ( 2 x pi/2 ) = cos (pi x)
The property of y = A cos Bx is:
(1). Its amplitude = |A|
(2). Its period = 2 pi/B
(3). Its curve will repeat along positive and negative direction in x-axis.
For function y = cos ( pi x )
A = 1, B = pi, period = 2 pi/B = 2pi/pi = 2
draw the graph of y = cos(pi x)
When x is in the interval of [0, 2], y = cos pi x finish the first cycle.
When x is in the interval of [2, 4], y = cos pi x finish the second cycle.
When x is in the interval of [4, 6], y = cos pi x finish the third cycle.
The curve will repeat along the x-axis in the interval of 2.
